''I came to Prof. Avnet following a diagnosis of otosclerosis in both ears. I did not treat the problem for many years and reached a state of decreased quality of life and great difficulty communicating with people. We performed surgery on one ear (left ear), I did not know what I was going into, I was terribly afraid to undergo the surgery but understood that it was the only solution available to me. Prof. Avnet helped me a lot with the process, explained clearly about every detail and stage. From the first moment, I felt that I was in good and safe hands. Prof. Avnet is very professional, welcoming, cheerful and smiling, and most importantly - humane! All these qualities greatly ease the entire treatment process, and it is not to be taken for granted. I highly recommend to anyone who is hesitant/afraid and interested in having the surgery - to do it! And if so, then only with Prof. Avnet.
